Kareena Trush
With over 30 years of dedicated experience in the live goods industry, Kareena is a certified floral designer who has transformed her passion for plants into a thriving full-service merchandising company.
As the owner of Goliath Grower Services, she recognized a critical gap in the seasonality of live goods programs and seized the opportunity to create meaningful solutions for growers across Canada.
Kareena’s expertise extends far beyond traditional floral design. Her deep understanding of merchandising and retail support has positioned her as a trusted partner for growers who want to focus on what they do best—cultivating high-quality plants—while ensuring their products reach consumers through expertly managed retail programs.
What sets Kareena apart is her exceptional ability to build and lead focused teams of live goods professionals. Through custom training programs, streamlined processes, and a culture of excellence that she exemplifies daily, she has created a network of skilled field representatives who maintain the highest standards across retail locations from coast to coast.
At Goliath Grower Services, Kareena’s mission is clear: help growers concentrate on their growing expertise while her team handles the complex world of retail merchandising, program management, and field support. This partnership approach has resulted in increased sales performance and stronger relationships between growers and retailers throughout Canada’s live goods industry.
When she’s not transforming retail environments or mentoring her team, Kareena enjoys exploring new destinations through travel, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and cherishing quality time with her family—experiences that fuel her creativity and passion for bringing more beauty into people’s lives.
DIRECTOR – FIELD OPERATIONS
Taylor Trush
Taylor brings over 8 years of field merchandising experience and 10 years in management, including leadership of high-volume Big Box Garden Centres and partnerships with leading growers. With strong skills in team building, communication, and creating a positive workplace culture, Taylor excels at motivating teams and delivering high standards in merchandising and operations.
If you can’t find Taylor in the Garden Centre, you’ll probably spot him out on the trails birdwatching or spending time with his dog, Ruby.
Director – Data & Analytics
Jade Parent
Jade brings over 7 years of Project Management experience to our team, specializing in data tracking, report building, & logistics. She holds a Business Degree & a PMP Certification.
Jade has led many complex projects across Canada, helping teams stay organized, on track, and ready to deliver. She got her start in healthcare, converting hospitals from paper records to electronic systems.
When she’s off the clock, you’ll probably find her hiking, camping, or tending to her garden.
Director of Horticulture
Meghan Gelushia
With over 4 years of horticulture experience and a decade in management, Meghan brings a unique blend of hands-on expertise and strategic leadership to her role. She has a strong background in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and ornamental plant production in the greenhouse.
Meghan holds a Horticulture Diploma with a greenhouse focus and is known for her forward-thinking approach—regularly identifying new business opportunities and helping to develop and strengthen long-term programs.
Outside of work, Meghan enjoys caring for her own garden and houseplants and has a particular interest in insect identification—reflecting her keen attention to detail and passion for the natural world.
